Bad Bunny turned the Levi’s Stadium field into an homage to his Puerto Rican roots for his 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Countless performers joined the “MONACO” singer and rapper, along with celebrity artists Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin. Since the performance was quite a spectacle, the NFL likely had to write a large check for it. So, does that mean Bad Bunny was paid a substantial amount?

Below, find out how much money Bad Bunny was paid to perform at the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show.

How Much Money Was Bad Bunny Paid for the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show?

Bad Bunny wasn’t paid a dime for his Super Bowl Halftime performance because no headlining artist ever is, per USA Today. Despite the million-dollar commercials, ticket sales and viewership the annual event receives, the Halftime Show performer isn’t compensated. In fact, most artists pay for their shows. That includes the set design, the staff, backup dancers and singers and other factors that contribute to the 13-minute concert.

The NFL might cover travel expenses for the artist, but other than that, there is no hefty paycheck given to any headliner.

How Much Were the Halftime Show Performers Paid?

Supporting performers, on the other hand, are paid for working with the headliner. Bad Bunny’s show featured a field of trees, and each tree was actually a costume for a person. The “tree” actors were reportedly paid around $1,300 for the eight-day rehearsal process and Halftime Show performance.

The tree costume revelation was a sight to see following Halftime. Viewers at home were stunned to learn that each plant actually contained a person who walked onto the field, stood still for Benito’s performance, then cleared out after the 13 minutes were up.

How Many People Watched Bad Bunny’s Halftime Show?

Multiple outlets reported that more than 130 million people tuned into Bad Bunny’s Halftime Show, and the numbers are still being crunched as of February 10, 2026.
