“Cease pondering! Breathe!” What the funk is that this?! Degree 33 Ent. has revealed an official trailer for a wierd indie thriller tilted Electra, made by Bahraini filmmaker Hala Matar. To not be confused with the Marvel film Elektra from 2005. This Electra follows two journalists who journey to the luxurious Italian villa of a well-known musician and his accomplice for an interview, however all shouldn’t be because it appears — the journey spirals into deceit & lethal betrayals. Hala Matar teases: “Electra is a movie about lies and deceit, the place characters put on metaphorical masks to impress or manipulate others. The unicorn, representing the masks of innocence, is drawn from a portray central to the movie’s plot — one thing I might quite hold a thriller for now.” The solid options Maria Bakalova, Abigail Cowen, Jack Farthing, and Daryl Wein. This seems to be very kooky and peculiar, extra experimental & conceptual than intelligent, borrowing from The Gifted Mr. Ripley. It is value a glance anyway.
