The World of Solana (WoS) Twitter account reported particulars of a neighborhood sting operation leading to a hacker getting scammed.

How did the hacker get scammed?

The story started following a hack of the Unchained NFT’s Discord channel on Monday.

Unchained NFT is a cross-chain gaming improvement studio that goals to develop “back-end compatibility between the NFT initiatives and chains we characterize.”

The message despatched to the “sniper” ended within the return of the stolen NFTs to their rightful homeowners. The final tweet signed off by praising the neighborhood’s actions in pulling off the sting, and for a second time.

“That is the second time our neighborhood has recovered scammed NFTs.

Our neighborhood is small, however collectively we’re very sturdy!”
