Chelsea will host Arsenal in the fifth round of this season’s Women’s FA Cup.
The draw took place on Monday evening and was shown live on the BBC’s Sportsday show.
The tie of the round comes from west London as holders Chelsea take on the most successful club in the competition’s history in Arsenal.
Division One South West side Cardiff City are the lowest ranked team and only remaining National League club in the draw. The tier four outfit stunned Northern Premier Division side Burnley with an emphatic 4-1 victory on Sunday, and will now take on Lewes in round five.
Last season’s beaten finalists Manchester City were 7-0 victors over Championship side Sheffield United in round four, and they have been rewarded with a trip to Bristol City.
The Women’s FA Cup fifth round ties will take place on Sunday 26 February 2023.
Teams that come out on top in the Women’s FA Cup fifth round and book their place in the quarter finals will pocket £20,000. Those that are eliminated at the fifth round stage will receive £5,000.
