As someone living retired on 100K/YR dividends, I need as much security as I can get. So, I tend to tie most of my investments to the S&P 500 (SPY) since statistically most fund managers cannot beat it over time.
However, I can’t help but to wonder if there are better funds out there that have outperformed SPY over the last 10 years.
I own many funds that have proven to beat SPY, according to Morningstar, (like STK seen below on 10K invested), and I am just wondering if there are any others that you know of who have beaten SPY, or came close. Can always use more diversification. Thanks!
