Long COVID would be a great bipartisan issue, but it is not the only one (“Could long COVID be the bipartisan cause that brings the Senate together?” Feb. 24, Zeynep Tufekci).
With overwhelming bipartisan support, the House passed a tax bill with an expanded the child tax credit that would lift half a million children out of poverty and throw 16 million Americans a lifeline.
It’s time for the Senate to do the same. We are talking about America’s future, our children, so why not take five minutes to ask your senators to pass this ladder out of poverty? Make this the first step to end the scourge of poverty in our country.
