WASHINGTON (Reuters) -British journalist Robert Winnett is not going to be a part of the Washington Publish as editor and stay on the London-based the Each day Telegraph, a employees memo from the U.S. newspaper’s writer confirmed.
“It’s with remorse that I share with you that Robert Winnett has withdrawn from the place of Editor at The Washington Publish,” writer Will Lewis mentioned within the memo.
The information comes amid a shake-up on the storied U.S. newspaper after Sally Buzbee exited as government editor earlier this month. She was set to get replaced by former Wall Road Journal editor-in-chief Matt Murray via the Nov. 5 presidential election, adopted by Winnett.
