Former President Donald Trump is complaining about being attacked by prosecutors for paying off adult film stars in illegal campaign activities. He and his defenders claim he did nothing wrong, the prosecution is a witch hunt, and all the usual deflections that politicians attempt when their crimes are discovered.
Setting aside why he’s labeling himself a witch, I suggest Trump should instead falsely accuse himself of crimes like he did with the Central Park Five. They spent years in jail until they were exonerated. Maybe if Trump spent a decade in jail after a wrongful conviction, the scales would be a little closer to balanced.
