Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., outdid himself recently when he suggested we should all refrain from taking the words of former President Donald Trump seriously.
As before, we’re being advised that when Trump says he’ll “tear up the Constitution,” he’s merely play-acting and, in reality, he’s a very different person than the one we see on stage at his pep rallies.
But isn’t that the sort of thing that’s been said of every dictator who’s ever lived just prior to their meteoric rise to power?
I take Trump’s words very seriously, as should every American who values freedom.
