Sudan’s navy has accused the Ethiopian military of executing seven Sudanese troopers and a civilian who have been captives.
In an announcement on Sunday, the Sudanese navy additionally accused the Ethiopian military of displaying the our bodies of these executed to the general public and promised that there can be “an applicable response”.
“This treacherous act is not going to cross with no response,” it mentioned.
There was no fast response from Ethiopian authorities to a request for remark.
Tensions between Sudan and Ethiopia have run excessive in recent times due to a spillover of the battle in Ethiopia’s northern Tigray area and Ethiopia’s building of a large hydropower dam on the Blue Nile.
