Pair of Imran Khan’s cellphones stolen from Sialkot airport

ISLAMABAD: A senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member on Monday claimed {that a} pair of cellphones belonging to former PM, Imran Khan, had been stolen from the Sialkot airport after Khan disclosed at an influence present within the metropolis final Saturday that he had recorded a video message containing names of all those that are allegedly plotting to assassinate him.
In a Twitter publish, Khan’s former aide, Shahbaz Gill, mentioned the incident occurred as the federal government had pulled the safety element of the previous prime minister.
“You (a veiled reference to authorities and safety institution) have gone fully berserk. The video assertion that Khan has recorded can’t be discovered on his cellphone. The cellphones had been stolen after Imran Khan landed on the airport after addressing a rally,” he mentioned, alleging that Imran’s telephones had been “ordered to be stolen” from the airport.
On the Sialkot rally, Khan had claimed that an “assassination try” is being hatched in opposition to him – video proof of which he has saved in a “safe place”.
“I’ve named all these components concerned within the conspiracy within the video. I knew about it and I bought full information of it a number of days in the past,” Khan mentioned.
“If one thing occurs to me then this video shall be made public in entrance of the nation. In it, whoever has conspired in opposition to me, whoever is complicit since final summer time, I’ve named everybody,” the ex-PM added.
PM Shehbaz Sharif directed inside (house) minister Rana Sanaullah on Monday to spice up Imran’s safety amid alleged threats to his life.
In an announcement, the spokesperson for the inside ministry mentioned that as per the orders of the PM, Imran has been offered “foolproof safety”.
The assertion mentioned not less than 94 safety personnel, together with 22 Islamabad policemen, have been deployed at Bani Gala, the residence of Imran Khan. Equally, 36 policemen from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and 6 from Gilgit-Baltistan have been deployed to guard Imran, it states.
