THIS is the moment a brave Ukrainian barista, unfazed by shrapnel spewing from a Russian missile, continues to serve coffee in Kyiv.

The fearless young woman was caught on CCTV serving coffee to customers after shrapnel from a Russian ballistic missile smashed her shop window to pieces.

Footage shared by Radio Svoboda then shows Mariia, 18, from Kyiv continuing to smile and carry on with her job after the attack.

Her shop window was completely destroyed, and although she admitted it was “scary”, with a smile on her face, Mariia said that “the most important thing is that everyone is alive”.

Making light of the situation, she added: “Our coffee shop is also alive. We make coffee, we work. It’s okay.

“Everything will be fine. Everything will be Ukraine. Something like that.”

Mariia admitted that coffee has proven to be somewhat of a distraction for her throughout the war.

The brave barista said that she knows people want coffee, and she can be there to give them that.

She went on to say that even during the first few explosions in the capital she had continued to make an espresso for a customer.

Mariia added: “It is to distract people a little bit. We continue to live. Life goes on. Everything will be Ukraine. We will win.

“We are unbreakable. The missile hit, we continue our work, make coffee. There are no words.”

Mariia fearless attitude is a testament to the resilience of the Ukrainian people – who have endured a series of brazen attacks in recent months.

Moment traumatised Ukrainian kids scream and run for cover from Putin’s bombs in horror hypersonic blitz on Kyiv

The attack on Mariia’s coffee shop came as part of Russia’s horrifying hypersonic blitz unleashed on the capital city on March 25.

Putin fired two catastrophic ballistic missiles, which can fly at ten times the speed of sound, into Kyiv – whilst simultaneously pounding other targets with an onslaught of drones.

Ukrainian air defence systems were able to down two Russian ballistic missiles but metal debris crashed all around injuring people in the capital.

Harrowing footage showed traumatised school kids running for their lives as loud booms from the missile cash rumbled through the sky.

Kyiv’s Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that 10 people were wounded in the horror attack, including a teenage girl and two pregnant women.

He wrote on social media: “Two of them were hospitalised. The rest were treated at the scene. Rescuers continue to clear the rubble.”

Emergency services added that the falling debris severely damaged an arts academy building and a gym.

A three-storey building was also partly wrecked by the attack – and the street outside the building was littered with bricks and cars coated in a thick layer of dust.

President Volodymyr Zelensky took to social media to say that the attack showed again that Ukraine needs better air defence systems from its allies.

He wrote: “It means safety for our cities and saved human lives. All of us in the world who respect and protect life need to stop this terror.”

Ukrainian foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba also took to social media to plead for more air defence from Ukraine’s allies.

He said: “This is a reminder that Ukraine urgently requires more air defence, particularly Patriot systems and missiles capable of repelling any Russian attack.”

Putin has been unleashing hell on Ukranian civilians using an arsenal of 150 devastating weapons designed to blitz warships and infrastructure.

These attacks by Russia is thought to be the largest launched since the Russian tyrant, 71, invaded Ukraine in February 2022.

Eighty-eight missiles and 66 drones were allegedly used in the air attack which could have been Russia’s biggest against Ukraine – ever.

Among the munitions used in the overnight blitz were 66 Shahed-136/131 one-way attack drones, 40 Kh-101/555 air-launched cruise missiles, and 22 S-300/400 tactical ballistic missiles, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

Russia also allegedly employed 12 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, seven Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” hypersonic missiles, five Kh-22 long-range anti-ship missiles, and two Kh-59 land-attack cruise missiles in the attack.

The deadly £4.5million “Kinzhal” rockets which Putin reportedly used against civilians have previously been described by the despot as “an ideal weapon”, capable of travelling at 12 times the speed of sound.

Meanwhile, drone footage from March 26 shows the moment Ukrainian drones easily repelled Russian attempts to advance in the blood-drenched region of Bakhmut.

Russian soldiers can be seen crawling out from beneath the shells of their strongholds, when the lethal attack drone swoops in to take them out in one clean sweep.

The Ukrainian drones had been sitting patiently in wait, eyeing up their targets from above as the Russian soldiers desperately tried to advance.

The footage shows how the Russian soldiers run in and out of crisply burned buildings, unaware of the threat looming over them.

After toying with them for a few brief minutes, the drones were able to quickly pick off the Russian troops.

Similar footage was released on March 23, when even more of Putin’s troops were wiped out by Ukrainian kamikaze drones.

The Russian troops can be seen trying to make a last minute escape after clocking on to the incoming threat – but it was already too late.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported that between February 24 2022, and March 26, 2024, Russia has lost over 438,000 personnel.

Russia is also thought to have lost just under 7,000 tanks, over 13,000 armoured vehicles, 11,000 artillery units, 727 air defence systems, 347 warplanes, 325 helicopters, 8,000 drones, and many more specialist equipment.

Earlier this month,  one of Putin’s £1million T-72 tank’s was completely eviscerated by a Ukrainian suicide drone.

Chilling footage showed the Russian tank making its way across the battlefield when it suddenly gets blown to smithereens.

And in February, a valuable trove of Putin’s war weapons were blown up by just a handful of Kamikaze drones.

The Ukrainian military wreaked havoc on a Russian hanger, destroying the high-level equipment from Putin’s war chest.

Footage showed the deadly Kamikaze drone entering the hanger and hovering around what appeared to be the rare Russian BMPT “Terminator” tank before shredding it up into pieces.

It is supposed to be one of Russia’s most advanced weapons systems as Putin attempts to portray his armed forces as some of the strongest in the world.

Poland has also demanded an explanation from Moscow after a Russian missile reportedly violated Polish airspace during an attack on Ukraine, putting Polish forces on high alert.

The Polish Foreign Ministry urged Russia to halt its air attacks on Ukraine, to end the war, and to address internal issues.
