WWE is in a surprising predicament this week since SmackDown has to be pre-taped on Tuesday so that the roster can make the trip to Saudi Arabia for Night of Champions this weekend.
It seems that a number of spoilers will be filtering through over the next few hours, but one major spoiler that has already been revealed is that WWE is planning to allow Blake Monroe to make her debut on SmackDown in her hometown.
Thanks for the submission!
According to Fightful Select, the plan is for Monroe to attack Giulia following her match with Kiana James, which has been set up after the duo split a few weeks ago on SmackDown.
James and Giulia worked cohesively for several months, but their issues bubbled to the surface when James believed that her friend had cost her a place in the Queen of the Ring Tournament a few weeks ago.
The issues have since spiraled, and it seems that the match on SmackDown tonight will mark the end of their story and allow Giulia to move on to a new story of her own with Monroe instead.
Blake Monroe has already made waves on WWE SmackDown before she’s made her debut
Blake Monroe has already made waves on SmackDown, having put a target on many of the women on the brand before making her debut. Instead, there have been several videos of the British star on the show, but now she will finally be able to make her debut.
Monroe has already shown that she has an issue with Tiffany Stratton; it’s unclear if their recent stream, where Monroe attacked Stratton, will lead to a story on SmackDown in the future since the two women are expected to work together at some point.
Stratton has been pushed into a story with Jade Cargill to replace Rhea Ripley following her injury, but could circle back to the original plans for her after Night of Champions. WWE has a few issues with injuries at present, but the Women’s Division seems to be pushing forward despite the changes that have been made to the show in recent weeks.
