The major Asian stock markets had a mixed day today:

  • NIKKEI 225 decreased 134.99 points or -0.48% to 28,027.84
  • Shanghai increased 71.20 points or 2.31% to 3,149.75
  • Hang Seng increased 906.74 points or 5.24% to 18,204.68
  • Kospi increased 25.12 points or 1.04% to 2,433.39
  • ASX 200 increased 24.20 points or 0.33% to 7,253.30
  • SENSEX increased 177.04 points or 0.28% to 62,681.84
  • Nifty50 increased 55.30 points or 0.30% to 18,618.05

 

 

The major Asian currency markets had a mixed day today:

  • AUDUSD increased 0.00312 or 0.47% to 0.66821
  • NZDUSD increased 0.00306 or 0.50% to 0.61936
  • USDJPY decreased 0.367 or -0.26% to 138.470
  • USDCNY decreased 0.10017 or -1.38% to 7.14693

 

Precious Metals:

  • Gold increased 9.34 USD/t oz. or 0.54% to 1,750.09
  • Silver increased 0.335 USD/t. oz or 1.60% to 21.252

Jobs/applications ratio (Oct) increased from 1.34 to 1.35

Retail Sales (YoY) (Oct) decreased from 4.8% to 4.3%

Unemployment Rate (Oct) remain the same at 2.6%

The major Europe stock markets had a mixed day:

  • CAC 40 increased 3.77 points or 0.06% to 6,668.97
  • FTSE 100 increased 37.98 points or 0.51% to 7,512.00
  • DAX 30 decreased 27.91 points or -0.19% to 14,355.45

 

The major Europe currency markets had a green day today:

  • EURUSD increased 0.00015 or 0.01% to 1.03445

The oil markets had a mixed day today:

 

  • Crude Oil increased 0.69 USD/BBL or 0.89% to 77.930
  • Brent decreased 0.071 USD/BBL or -0.09% to 83.119
  • Natural gas decreased 0.0021 USD/MMBtu or -0.03% to 7.1939
  • Gasoline decreased 0.0239 USD/GAL or -1.03% to 2.3067
  • Heating oil increased 0.0916 USD/GAL or 2.85% to 3.3070
