Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 0.78% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the were Electra Ltd (TASE:), which rose 4.85% or 6,680.00 points to trade at 144,280.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shikun & Binui (TASE:) added 4.57% or 43.00 points to end at 975.00 and Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:) was up 3.25% or 186.00 points to 5,906.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:), which fell 1.79% or 9.00 points to trade at 494.00 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) declined 1.30% or 57.00 points to end at 4,341.00 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:) was down 1.28% or 25.00 points to 1,923.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 263 to 193 and 88 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.24% or 0.19 to $77.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.13% or 0.11 to hit $82.21 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.33% or 26.25 to trade at $2,006.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.27% to 3.72, while EUR/ILS rose 0.26% to 4.06.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 103.25.
