Texas-based commercial real estate firm Gerber Realty has named a new president and CEO, with founder and managing broker David Gerber passing the torch to his daughter, Melissa Gerber Brams.
Gerber, who is 81 and has been in the real estate industry for 34 years, said in a statement that he decided the time was right to take a step back from leading the business he founded in 1989.
Gerber will remain with the firm, representing clients in a “semi-retired” role.
