Ukraine has obtained the primary Mirage fighter jets from France, French Defence Minister Sébastien Lecornu mentioned on Thursday.
The Mirages have been handed over together with Ukrainian pilots who had been educated on the jets in France, Lecornu posted on X.
The Defence Ministry didn’t disclose precisely what number of plane have been delivered and what number of fighter plane France intends to offer in complete.
French media reported, as regards to a price range report by the Nationwide Meeting from the autumn, that France plans to offer Ukraine six of the 26 Mirage 2000-5s that the French air pressure has.
Ukrainian Defence Minister Rustem Umerov confirmed the arrival of each French fighter jets and US-built F-16s from the Netherlands.
“These fashionable combating machines are already in Ukraine and can quickly be utilized in fight missions,” he wrote on Fb.
Umerov didn’t present any info on the variety of jets that had arrived.
