New Delhi: The European Union’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) will impose extra 25 per cent tax on energy-intensive items exported from India to the EU, a brand new report stated on Wednesday. This tax burden would symbolize 0.05 per cent of India’s GDP, in keeping with the report titled “The World South’s response to a altering commerce regime within the period of local weather change” by impartial assume tank Centre for Science and Atmosphere (CSE).
