In accordance with Citi’s head of world commodity analysis, they’re now a 1.4 million barrel/day lower in demand, in comparison with their preliminary 2022 estimate (now 2.2 million anticipated, in comparison with 3.6 million), due to a looming recession.
I discovered this text fascinating, first as a result of that is the primary estimate given of demand destruction I’ve seen. Secondly, Citi can be predicting a recession in a quite abrupt time period.
