Graham Potter’s quest to bounce back from the weekend’s 4-1 mauling at the hands of Brighton begins on Wednesday with a Champions League dead rubber against Dinamo Zagreb.
The Blues have already secured their spot as group winners after a double over AC Milan and a victory over Red Bull Salzburg last time out, so Potter can use this one as a chance to rotate his squad.
That may prove to be a real blessing to the boss, whose players were so far below standard against Brighton. Questions of fatigue, tactics and general ability were all asked after the game and Potter will undoubtedly have been working hard to come up with a solution.
Zagreb are the only side to have beaten Chelsea in Europe this season, with the Croatian side running out 1-0 winners in the opening round of fixtures to ramp up the pressure on former boss Thomas Tuchel, who wouldn’t see another Champions League game before being relieved of his duties.
Here’s how you can keep up with the action from this Champions League clash on TV and streaming services.
