‘Beyoncé didn’t sing, Oprah didn’t do a lot’: Trump assaults Harris’s movie star endorsements

US President-elect Donald Trump

President-elect Donald Trump took to Reality Social, alleging that the Democrats had paid celebrities to lend their public help to Vice President Kamala Harris.
In a put up on Saturday, Trump claimed the Democrats had spent hundreds of thousands to safe endorsements from high-profile figures similar to Beyoncé, Oprah Winfrey, and MSNBC host Al Sharpton.
“Are the Democrats allowed to pay $11,000,000, $2,000,000, and $500,000 to get the ENDORSEMENT of Beyoncé, Oprah, and Reverend Al? I don’t suppose so,” the previous president wrote.
He went on to criticise the involvement of those figures, stating, “Beyoncé didn’t sing, Oprah didn’t do a lot of something (she referred to as it ‘bills’), and Al is only a third price Con Man.”
Beyoncé and Oprah had each appeared alongside Harris throughout the marketing campaign path, with Oprah lately insisting that she “was not paid a dime” for her involvement in a live-streamed occasion, although the marketing campaign did cowl manufacturing charges, The Hill reported.
Sharpton, the distinguished civil rights activist and MSNBC host, interviewed Harris in October. He’s additionally the founding father of the Nationwide Motion Community, a non-profit organisation that obtained a $500,000 donation from Harris’ marketing campaign shortly earlier than the interview. Trump, in his Saturday put up, questioned the legality of the donation, suggesting that it could be in violation of marketing campaign legal guidelines.
