GLENN DALE, Md. — Higher Crust Baker, working as Crest Hill Bakery, has issued a recall for 3 bread merchandise which will include glass shards.
The April 12 recall impacts Historic Grains Hoagie Rolls, Multigrain Sourdough and Complete Grain Multigrain Bread. A glass fragment was discovered on the seeded bread.
The objects had been distributed in Pennsylvania, California, Connecticut, Maryland, Delaware and Ohio.
An investigation traced the contamination to sunflower seeds from a separate, New Jersey-based provider.
