The spouse of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner was shot by Los Angeles police immediately and later arrested on suspicion of tried homicide, LAPD stated. The capturing occurred as officers had been doing a search of an Eagle Rock neighborhood after a crash of the 134 Freeway that didn’t contain the couple.
LAPD officers responded to the world to help the California Freeway Patrol in a seek for three suspects who fled from the crash scene into the neighborhood. In keeping with the LAPD, officers approached the rear of a house within the 5300 block of Waldo Place and noticed a girl — later recognized as
Shriner — who was “armed with a handgun” within the yard of a neighboring residence.
“The officers ordered Shriner to drop the handgun quite a few occasions, nonetheless, she refused,” LAPD stated in a press release. “Shriner then pointed the handgun on the officers,” prompting at the least one to open fireplace. Shriner “was struck by gunfire and fled into her residence,” police stated. “She later exited and was taken into custody.”
