Mauricio Umansky, founder of The Agency and reality TV star, talked with Brad Inman during a session at Inman Connect New York about how and why changes are needed in the real estate industry. He targeted the troubles with the National Association of Realtors and the lack of options agents have regarding other professional associations.
To remedy this, he and Jason Haber, a New York-based Compass agent, are partnering to launch a new organization called the American Real Estate Association, or AREA for short.
