The James Beard Foundation’s prestigious awards has released the finalists for this year – but the Triangle was left out.
The annual awards are some of the most coveted accolades in the restaurant industry. The Triangle has produced many semifinalists and several finalists in recent years – including winners. But the list of 2023 finalists has no Triangle area chefs or establishments. The semifinalists revealed in January featured just two local names.
