Todd Excuses Biden’s ‘Where’s Jackie?’ Gaffe, Just a Mistake, ‘Move On’

On Sunday’s NBC Meet the Press, anchor Chuck Todd excused the latest example of President Biden’s mental incapacity when this week he called out for Congresswoman Jackie Walorski (R-IN) at an event, despite the fact that she died in a car accident a month prior. According to Todd, it wasn’t a big deal because “people make mistakes.”

After airing footage of Biden looking for the deceased Congresswoman in the audience, Todd sought to explain how this happened: “Jackie Walorski died in a car accident…in August.”

Because Walorski was involved in Hunger, Nutrition, and Health issues which was the event Biden was speaking to, Todd sought to excuse the fact that Biden thought a deceased Congresswoman would be in the audience: “She was a big part of this hunger, and so that’s how this moment came about,” Todd reasoned.

He then turned to former Biden propagandist turned MSNBC host Symone Sanders-Townsend to ask how she would’ve handled this situation.

Of course, Sanders-Townsend sought to excuse the incident claiming “Karine Jean-Pierre has a very tough job” and “it’s very clear that the President had a slip of the tongue.”

She speculated that “everyone understands that the President unfortunately uniquely understands how the family is feeling. And I’m sure he made that very clear to them when he came to the White House on Friday.”

Illustrating that she’s nothing but a Biden apologist, Sanders-Townsend advised everyone “just acknowledge he had a slip of the tongue, move on, it’s unfortunate, again, life is here. He understands, and empathizes,” adding “that’s what’s most important here.”

Instead of pushing back and saying this shows Biden has serious cognitive issues, Todd agreed with Sanders-Townsend that “people make mistakes and you try to go from there.”

A mistake would be forgetting someone’s name for a split second or something similar. Forgetting that a member of Congress died in a well publicized car crash isn’t a mistake. It is yet another long list of evidence of Biden’s rapidly declining brain function.

Chuck Todd is only fooling himself.

This segment of NBC making excuses for Biden’s apparent Dementia was made possible by Verizon. Their information is linked.

NBC’s Meet the Press
10/2/2022
11:12:37 a.m. Eastern

CHUCK TODD: Jackie Walorski died in a car accident in, I believe it was in August. She was a big part of this hunger, and so that’s how this moment came about. Simone, how would you have handled that situation?

SYMONE SANDERS-TOWNSEND: Look, Karine Jean-Pierre has a very tough job. I think she goes out there every single day and a number of people could not do what she does every single day. Look, I think it’s very clear that the President had a slip of the tongue, obviously. And I’m sure he is extremely apologetic to the family of the Congresswoman, if he caused them any more trauma or agony.

No one—I mean I think everyone understands that the President unfortunately uniquely understands how the family is feeling. And I’m sure he made that very clear to them when he came to the White House on Friday. Just acknowledge he had a slip of the tongue, move on, it’s unfortunate, again, life is here. He understands, and empathizes. I think that’s what’s most important here. And I think Karine did try to do that.

TODD: People make mistakes and you try to go from there.

SANDERS-TOWNSEND: Yeah, yeah, we have all done it before.

TODD: Fair enough.
