NAPLES, FL USA – Naples’ Gulf Coast International Properties is pleased to announce its Principal, Tim Savage, has joined national race team The Racers Group (TRG), a sportscar championship racing team located in Petaluma, California.
TRG, founded and owned by Kevin and Debra Buckler, has competed professionally in road racing since 1995. Savage recently took to the track in the Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS series on the TRG’s home track at Sonoma Raceway. Savage joined veteran TRG driver Derek DeBoer and Aston Martin Racing Team professional driver Ross Gunn piloting their #007 GT3. Savage drove the iconic #009 Aston Martin Vantage GT4 in the Pirelli GT America series.
While the GT3 Aston Martin Racing team did not podium at this series, they secured an extremely respectable 10th position in Race 2 with their best lap of 1:40.106. Savage, in the GT4 Aston Martin, finished in 4th position in his debut; an outstanding performance.
Savage has developed his skills for GT racing over the past 3 years, competing in International GT, National Autosports Association, and PBOC races with multiple podiums and a number of first place finishes. The race was Savage’s first Aston Martin experience and his first year competing in the Pirelli GT4 America series. When not on the track, Savage spends his time with his wife, Stephanie and their 3 children. TRG team sponsor Gulf Coast International Properties was founded by Tim in 2009.
