Over the weekend, the New York Jets and their fans got their first official look at Aaron Rodgers as a member of Gang Green, and the results will have them clamoring for the team’s Week 1 matchup against the division-rival Buffalo Bills. In two series against the crosstown foe New York Giants, Rodgers went 5-for-8 for 47 yards with a gorgeous TD pass to the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year Garrett Wilson. Following the game, Rodgers succinctly summed up his efforts. “I got in, didn’t get hurt, scored. A good night.” For a franchise that has not had too many good nights since they last qualified for the postseason more than a decade ago, Rodgers has been a godsend. Now, he just has to navigate them back to the playoffs for this experiment to ultimately go down as a successful one. Easier said than done, in what promises to be a highly competitive AFC landscape.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Rodgers holds the Packers’ record for most TD passes in a season, and with a decent bounce back year, could also end up the Jets’ record-holder. So with that in mind, how many of the record holders for passing touchdowns in a season for every NFL franchise can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
