The Detroit Lions are buying three-time Professional Bowl defensive finish Za’Darius Smith from the Cleveland Browns previous to the NFL commerce deadline on Tuesday, a number of media retailers reported.
Along with Smith, the Lions are receiving a seventh-round choose within the 2026 NFL Draft. The Browns, in flip, are buying a fifth-round choice within the 2025 NFL Draft and a sixth-round choose in 2026.
