Railway Ministry Sanctions Rs 2.5 Crore For Nashik-Dahanu New Line Survey

The railway ministry has sanctioned the ultimate location survey for the Nashik-Dahanu new line by way of Trimbakeshwar and Vangaon, an official mentioned on Friday.

The 100-kilometre line will join Nashik and Dahanu in Palghar districts and can cut back the journey time significantly between the 2 essential locations, a Central Railway spokesperson mentioned.

“Presently, to succeed in Dahanu from Nashik, trains journey by way of Kalyan-Bhiwandi-Vasai on the south aspect or Dhule-Nandurbar-Surat by way of the north aspect. The brand new hyperlink is predicted to scale back journey time and distance between the 2 cities.
