Piers Morgan is exiting Rupert Murdoch’s Information Corp media empire after three years to take possession of his Uncensored YouTube channel.
Deadline first revealed final September that Morgan was unlikely to resume his Information Corp deal. Now the previous CNN presenter has confirmed a Sky Information report about his departure.
Morgan has reportedly agreed to take management of Uncensored by means of his Wake Up Productions manufacturing outfit in trade for a four-year revenue-sharing cope with Information Corp.
“I’ve had a good time working again at Information and am delighted that we are going to proceed to be companions,” Morgan instructed Sky Information.
“Proudly owning the model permits my workforce and I the liberty to focus solely on constructing Uncensored right into a standalone enterprise, editorially and commercially, and in time, widening it from simply me and my content material.”
