This collection is a re-invention of the traditional story of 20,000 Leagues Below the Sea from Jules Vern, by modernizing the idea. Nautilus tells Jules Verne’s epic story from Captain Nemo’s perspective: an Indian Prince robbed of his birthright and household, a prisoner of the East India Mercantile Firm and a person bent on revenge in opposition to the forces which have taken all the things from him. Shazad Latif stars on this collection as Captain Nemo, appearing as an origin story for the Captain – an Indian prince-turned-crusading scientist. Sure, his submarine is in it, taking him on his adventures and into battles with big sea creatures – together with an eel and squid.
