The NBA is investigating an altercation that happened on Saturday evening involving Philadelphia 76ers celebrity Joel Embiid and a reporter overlaying the group.
The reported incident happened within the 76ers locker room following their 124-107 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies and stemmed from a column written by the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Marcus Hayes this week that referred to Embiid’s son, in addition to Embiid’s deceased brother.
Embiid fired again at Hayes throughout a information convention earlier this week after which had an opportunity to confront him on Saturday evening.
