A growing multitude of disastrous issues and events — environmental calamities, attempts to abolish rights for certain people, and acts to injure or kill innocent people in senseless shootings or other harmful ways — are occurring throughout the country, with no end in sight.
Positive changes are needed in some Americans’ attitudes and actions toward our democracy. Changes that deny fertile ground for lies and hatred to grow virulent, undermining democracy, are needed.
What’s needed is to seek truthful democratic enlightenment over false and dangerous conspiracies, promote human rights for all people, remove blinders that prevent the recognition of what’s right or wrong, and vote for people who support democracy.
With a strong commitment to truth, justice and equality, let us make the necessary changes to protect our democracy before it’s too late.
