Leeds United sit fourth in the Championship table after a really impressive last quarter of the season, with an automatic promotion place very much still in their sights.
Daniel Farke and his side have the sole ambition of gaining promotion back to the Premier League this term, and in order to do so, they’ll be hoping to avoid further injuries.
The treatment table at Thorp Arch has been pretty busy over the last few months but the squad is in decent shape now as we head into the festive period.
Football FanCast keeps you up to date with all the latest Leeds news involving injuries and suspensions ahead of the clash against Preston North End on Sunday.
Latest Leeds injury news
The Whites have three absentees for Sunday
Farke’s squad is in a healthier state than it was a month ago, with just Stuart Dallas, Pascal Struijk and Karl Darlow the only confirmed absentees.
Stuart Dallas continues to recover from a long-term injury sustained over 18 months ago. The 32-year-old is recovering from a femoral fracture that required three surgeries.
Meanwhile, we believe Darlow is still recovering from a dislocated thumb and wasn’t mentioned by Farke in his press conference.
Pascal Struijk has been out with a groin/adductor injury and Farke told Leeds fans not to expect the defender to play this weekend as he continues to recover.

One doubt for Sunday
Daniel Farke doesn’t have too much to worry about this weekend as the likes of Sam Byram and Liam Cooper are set to return, as well as Junior Firpo getting no mention in Farke’s press conference, so he must be fit after a dead leg.
However, one man that Leeds look likely to be without is Wilfried Gnonto.
Farke stated: “Willy is a major doubt, he has a problem with his hip flexor”.
Latest Leeds suspension news
Leeds don’t currently have anyone serving a suspension or at risk of a suspension, having passed the 19 games mark in the Championship.
