Kelsea Ballerini finally revealed what is going on with Chase Stokes!
As you may recall, the country music artist and Outer Banks star first sparked romance rumors last month when he posted a picture of them cuddling at the College Football National Championship on Instagram. While the pair remained tight-lipped on their relationship, they haven’t been keeping their relationship entirely secret as they were spotted packing on the PDA at LAX. And now, it looks like Kelsea is ready to open up about the current state of her love life!
During an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast on Wednesday, the Penthouse singer officially confirmed she is no longer single and is in a relationship with Chase! Following her messy divorce from Morgan Evans, Kelsea shared that she was ready to get back into the dating world and has been “just vibing” with the 30-year-old actor:
“I was ready to open back up. I just felt, why not? I’ve never really dated; I don’t know how it works. I’m like, ‘Let’s just put ourselves out there; let’s just vibe.’ And it’s been fun.”

As for how they met? Since the musician was “not going to get on an app” to meet someone, she recalled sliding into Chase’s DMs after they began following each other on the ‘gram:
“I’ve never seen his show, but I just knew of him, and I just swan dove right on in.”
Kelsea kept it simple when introducing herself to the Netflix star, saying:
“His handle is ‘@hichasestokes,’ and I said, ‘Hi, Chase Stokes.’”
Cute! When host Alexandra Cooper asked if Kelsea was concerned about Morgan’s reactions to the pictures of her and Chase, she insisted his feelings are not her problem anymore:
“No, because I’m not married to him anymore and I don’t need to care about his feelings anymore. And I mean that with all the respect in the world, but his journey is not mine anymore. I hope he is protected from whatever he needs to be protected from seeing — I hope he has people in his life that help him do that — [but] that is not my job.”
And after going through a tumultuous breakup, Kelsea went on to explain that she went into her new relationship with a whole new perspective:
“I think I’m finally an adult. I think that just happened over the last couple of years, and I feel like what that means to me is I have opinions. I have a career that is a priority for me, to show up for myself and the people that I’ve aligned with along this journey. And I have aspirations and goals that are tied to no one, and those are all really important things. I have my s**t together, you know what I mean?”
