JSW Vitality PSP Two Ltd. has signed an vitality storage facility settlement with the Maharashtra State Electrical energy Distribution Co. for the procurement of 1,500 MW value of pumped hydro vitality storage.
JSW Vitality PSP Two is a step-down subsidiary of JSW Vitality Ltd.
The settlement was signed following the announcement of the corporate receiving the letter of intent on Oct. 1, 2024.
The settlement entails the provision of vitality storage capability for 40 years, throughout which JSW shall be entitled to obtain a set capability cost of ₹84.66 lakh per MW each year.
The Bhavali Pumped Hydro Venture may have an eight-hour discharge capability with a most of 5 hours of steady discharge. The venture is predicted to be commissioned within the subsequent 48 months.
The venture is located within the Nashik and Thane districts of Maharashtra.
