Former Boston Celtics player Jrue Holiday has officially sold his sprawling Massachusetts home for $6.69 million—two months after going into a contract with a buyer and months after he was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers.
The 35-year-old—who moved from the Boston-based team to the Trail Blazers in July—listed the 8,850-square-foot abode on Oct. 1.
A mere three weeks after putting it on the market, Realtor.com® exclusively revealed that he had gone into contract with a buyer; however, the sale was contingent on certain conditions.
Now, it appears as though those conditions have been met as property records reveal that Holiday sold the dwelling for $6.69 million on Dec. 22.
The NBA star snapped up the abode in May 2024 for $6.5 million.
At the time, the home had only just been completed—meaning that Holiday’s buyer will be moving into an abode that has only ever been lived in by one person and, even then, just for a short amount of time.
The listing showcased the modern home’s large, bright rooms, and a white-and-beige palette.
According to the description, the home “offers the rare combination of a prime location, modern luxury, and exceptional craftsmanship.”
The property boasts a modern facade and is surrounded by lush greenery.
Upon entering the home, guests are greeted with an expansive living area, complete with expansive glass doors that give way to the exterior and allow natural light to flood inside, alongside a cozy fireplace situated inside a marble mantle.
Adjacent to the large lounging room, there is also a chic chef’s kitchen, which is “outfitted with Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, an oversized island, and sleek quartz countertops” and is described as the “heart of the home,” as per the listing.
There is also a charming breakfast nook next to kitchen, which is the perfect place for people to gather.

Holiday starred in college for the UCLA Bruins, before being drafted in the first round in 2009 by the Philadelphia 76ers.
After four years with the Sixers, Holiday went on to play for the New Orleans Pelicans and the Milwaukee Bucks, before joining the Celtics in 2023.
During the five games in last year’s NBA finals, Holiday averaged 14.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists‚ helping to lead the team to a championship win.
He has also competed in two Olympics with Team USA, achieving the team gold at both the 2020 Tokyo Games and the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The sporting superstar signed a four-year contract extension with the Celtics in April 2024, worth an estimated $135 million, just one month before he bought his Newton property.
However, he spent just two seasons with the team before he was traded to the Trail Blazers in July of this year.
