TOKYO (Reuters) -Shigeru Ishiba, a former Japanese defence minister and main candidate within the ruling occasion’s management race, stated there was “room to lift” company taxes, Kyodo Information quoted him as saying late on Saturday.

“There are nonetheless corporations that may bear the tax burden. I would love them to bear it a bit of extra,” Ishiba stated in an election-related webcast, Kyodo reported.
