Jana Kramer is looking back on some not-so-fond memories of her romantic past.
The 39-year-old star opened up about one of the worst dates she’s ever been on in a new episode of her podcast Whine Down this week. It involves a reality TV star, some bad chemistry, and a SUPER awkward ending. We feel for her on this one!!

The country crooner spoke candidly on her podcast’s latest episode about an awful blind date she went on about fifteen years ago with Brody Jenner. Yes, that Brody Jenner. The entertainment world is a small one! LOLz!
Heidi Montag on the show as Jana’s guest for the episode, which first hit the airwaves back on Sunday afternoon. In it, the Michigan-born singer explained how she met up with Brody for a double date on Hollywood’s famed Sunset Strip:
“I was maybe, 24. I mean, a long, long time ago. We were at some club on Sunset. It was you and Spencer [Pratt], and someone set me and Brody up on a blind date.”
A blind date with Brody Jenner in approximately 2007 or 2008?! That was literally every 20-something girl’s dream back in the day!! But reality wasn’t so sweet for Jana…
For the One Tree Hill alum, things did not go as she’d hoped. Jana explained to her podcast guest how she failed to find common ground with Caitlyn Jenner‘s son, the duo couldn’t get on the same page with chemistry, and the vibes were OFF:
“So we’re at this dinner, and it was, like, the worst. You were so sweet, but it was the worst blind date ever with me and Brody. Like the absolute worst. And the worst thing about it was that probably one of my most embarrassing moments was that night because we were not vibing at all.”
Ugh!
After some stops and starts throughout the night, Kramer opted to get the hell outta Dodge. But there was a catch!! As she went “marching towards the exit sign,” as the mom of two recalled, her planned departure didn’t get off the ground as smoothly as she’d wanted:
“He said something to me, and I was like, ‘that’s it, I’m leaving.’ But there were mirrors. There were mirrors on the walls. Little do I know, the exit sign walks me right in. It was the reflection because it’s all a f**king mirror. So I slam right into the mirror.”
Yikes! That’s not good!
Clearly still embarrassed by the unfortunate mirror mishap, Kramer concluded:
“I did not look back to see if someone saw me, but I’m pretty sure someone saw me walk into the mirror.”
And fifteen years later, it still smarts. Sorry, Jana! Pretty funny for us, tho. LOLz!

Thankfully, the Dancing With The Stars alum has enjoyed a far happier dating life more recently. As we’ve been reporting, she’s linked up with new boyfriend Allan Russell in recent months, and things seem to be going well.
Back in March, she and the 42-year-old Scottish soccer coach made their red carpet debut together at the iHeart Radio Music Awards. Speaking to People at that shindig, Jana gushed about her football flame:
“I’m happy. I’m in a great relationship. He’s a wonderful man, and I’ve got amazing, healthy kids. I’m blessed. I feel very blessed. I’m in a new chapter, and it feels really nice. For the first time, I’m really embracing it, and I’m trying to sink in that I deserve this new chapter.”
Of course, she’d been through the ringer with ex-husband Mike Caussin and his litany of issues and infidelities in the years prior. So for the proud momma — who shares daughter Jolie, 7, and son Jace, 4 with Mike — settling in with Russell has been a major blessing:
“People always say, ‘when you fix your stuff, and you do the work, and you’re happy just being on your own, that’s when usually Prince Charming comes in.’ Mine just happened to be from Scotland.”
Amen! And no mirrors to worry about slamming into at this point in her life, either. Ha!
