Rely on your own research and what you see in the habits of people around you. Are people using Google services less or more? How entrenched are Google services in our life? How does this usage impact Google’s bottom line?
Understand the long term advantages or disadvantages a service like google has. Appreciate the breadth of product offerings Google has and evaluate whether these are a net good or not. Take a call on whether you think these headwinds are long term or temporary, cyclical ones that will blow over. Ultimately, look at the price and cash flows and see if it makes sense.
