“For me, hell was not the second Israel attacked; hell was the second they would not open the door [of the cell] for us,” Motahareh Goonei recollects in an unique interview with the BBC.
A political activist, Goonei was in solitary confinement in Iran’s infamous Evin Jail when it was hit in a focused assault by Israel on 23 June.
