How Congress broken AAP within the Delhi elections

The Congress could not have gained any seat in Delhi however by securing 6.39 p.c of the vote share, it considerably broken AAP. In as many as 14 constituencies, the variety of votes that the Congress acquired was greater than the margin of the BJP’s victory.

In truth, the AAP’s high management – Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Saurabh Bharadwaj and Somnath Bharti misplaced on account of the Congress candidates in these respective constituencies securing greater than the distinction of the variety of votes between the winner BJP and AAP.

In New Delhi, the distinction between BJP’s Parvesh Sahib Singh who acquired 30088 votes and Arvind Kejriwal who acquired 25999 votes was 4089 votes. Congress’s Sandeep Dikshit acquired 4568 votes.

In Jungpura, BJP’s Tarvinder Singh Marwah acquired 38859 votes whereas Manish Sisodia acquired 38184 votes, shedding by 675 votes. Congress’s Farhad Suri acquired 7350 votes.

AAP’s Saurabh Bharadwaj misplaced to the BJP’s Shikha Roy by 3188 votes in Larger Kailash whereas Congress’s Garvit Singhvi acquired 6711 votes on this constituency. AAP’s Somnath Bharti misplaced to BJP’s Satish Upadhyay by 2131 votes whereas the Congress’s Jitender Kochar acquired 6770 votes.

Apart from these 4 VIP constituencies, the Congress candidates acquired greater vote than variety of votes by which the AAP candidates misplaced in eight extra constituencies. These embrace Badli, Chhatarpur, Madipur, Nangloi Jat, Rajende Nagar, Sangam Vihar, Timarpur and Trilokpuri.

In Badli, AAP’s Ajesh Yadav misplaced by 10,461 votes whereas the Congress’s Devender Yadav acquired 31,130 votes.

In Chhatarpur, AAP’s Brahm Singh Tanwar misplaced to the BJP’s Kartar Sing Tanwar by 6239 vites whereas the Congress’s Rajender Singh Tanwar acquired 6601 votes.

In Madipur, Kailash Gangwal of the BJP defeated Rakhi Birla of the AAP by 10899 votes. The Congress secured 17958 votes.

In Nangloi Jat, BJP’s Manoj Kumar Shokeen defeated AAP’s Raghuvinder Shokeen by 26251 votes. Congress’s Rohit Choudhary acquired 32028 votes.

In Rajender Nagar, Umang Bajaj of the BJP defeated Durgesh Pathak of AAP by 1231 votes. The Congress’s Vineet Yadav acquired 4015 votes.

In Sangam Vihar, the BJP’s Chandan Kumar Choudhary defeated AAP’s Dinesh Mohaniya by 344 votes. The Congress’s Harsh Choudhary acquired 15863 votes.

In Timarpur, the BJP’s Surya Prakash Khatri defeated AAP’s Surinder Pal Singh Bittoo by 969 votes. The Congress’s Lokendra Kalyan Singh acquired 7827 votes.

In Trilokpuri, BJP’s Ravi Kant defeated AAP’s Anjana Parcha by 392 votes. The Congress’s Amardeep acquired 6147 votes.

In two constituencies, the Congress candidates stood second. In Karawal Nagar, the Congress got here second after Kapil Mishra of the BJP who gained. In Kasturba Nagar too, the Congress’s Abhishek Dutt was second after the BJP’s Neeraj Basoya who gained by 11048 votes. AAP got here third with 18617 votes.
