Danielson Martins Paiva, 29, had visited the grocery store within the Brazilian metropolis of Sinop, north west of Brasilia.
CCTV digital camera caught him calmly assessing a row of backyard gear earlier than he picked up a shovel on Saturday 18 January.
The husband calmly walked across the entrance of the shop wielding the backyard gear turned weapon.
