The Feb. 26 story “Water returns to 2021 level, but Lake Mead’s health remains fragile” noted that water levels have risen to 1,073 feet at the lake due to water cuts and unusually heavy snowfall last winter.
If this is true, why are we still building out? The Southern Nevada Water Authority says most of the wastewater is recycled, but you can’t have it both ways; one telling you water reduction in your household helped fill the lake, but we still have to keep on building with no end in sight.
