“I’m so glad you confirmed up this morning!” Whiskey Creek has debuted the trailer for Discover to Give up, an indie dramedy marking the characteristic directorial debut of filmmaker Simon Hacker. This movie is being given an enormous nationwide launch in theaters in late September. A failing father makes an attempt to salvage some semblance of paternal standing whereas being totally uncovered for the fraud that he’s. Michael Zegen (from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) stars as Andy Singer, a struggling New York Metropolis realtor caught within the cycle of renting rundown flats, who finds his world crashing down round him when his estranged 10-year-old daughter, Anna, reveals up unannounced on his doorstep whereas he is being evicted. Shot on 35mm across the metropolis, the movie unfolds as a poignant comedy of misadventures amidst the oppressive warmth of a single summer time day. Kasey Bella Suarez, Isabel Arraiza, Eric Berryman, & Michael Angelo Covino additionally star on this exploration of household dynamics, redemption, and survival amidst the chaos of city life.
