Russle reclassified meta and netflix as value. Companies before entering the top 10 had growth rates from 10% to 25% in the 10 years prio and growth between 0.7 and -1.5 in the years after.
I see a lot of people recommending the big tech companies, and especially apple. Meta and netflix’s crashes brought their prices to levels of 5 years ago, amazon stock is at 2 years ago. Apple is the biggest company, has had insane growth rates and is outperforming the market this year. I don’t see them continuing to grow. In general buying the biggest companies and expecting high returns seems like a mistake.
