El Al CEO: We’ll launch routes to Melbourne, Tokyo, Dublin

El Al Israel Airways Ltd. (TASE:ELAL) CEO Dina Ben-Tal Ganancia has informed the Google tourism convention in Tel Aviv that the provider plans to launch direct flights to Melbourne, Tokyo and Japan. All three new routes have been introduced in 2019 earlier than the outbreak of the Covid pandemic after which canceled when worldwide journey was disrupted.

Assuming that El Al is granted permission to fly over Saudi airspace, flights from Tel Aviv to Melbourne in Australia will take 15 hours, much like the gap between Tel Aviv and Los Angeles, one other route on which El Al is the one provider, Ben-Tal Ganacia stated. El Al may even be the one provider working on the routes between Tel Aviv and Tokyo and Tel Aviv and Dublin.
