Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the fell 1.10%.
The best performers of the session on the were GN Store Nord (CSE:), which rose 3.10% or 4.95 points to trade at 164.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) added 1.60% or 9.00 points to end at 573.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:) was up 1.16% or 4.70 points to 411.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:), which fell 1.86% or 17.00 points to trade at 897.20 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) declined 0.97% or 85.00 points to end at 8,660.00 and Genmab (CSE:) was down 0.93% or 19.00 points to 2,024.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 63 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.60% or 9.00 to 573.00. Shares in AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) fell to 3-years lows; down 0.97% or 85.00 to 8,660.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.68% or 0.56 to $82.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.51% or 0.44 to hit $87.33 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 5.60 to trade at $2,158.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 6.87, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 103.49.
