Delhi recorded a most temperature of 18 levels Celsius, two levels under regular, in accordance with the India Meteorological Division.
The minimal temperature stood at 13 levels Celsius on Sunday, six notches above the season’s common for this time of the month.
The climate division has predicted very dense fog on Monday, with the utmost and minimal temperatures anticipated to settle round 18 and 6 levels Celsius, respectively.
The 24-hour Air High quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 225 within the ‘poor’ class at 4 pm on Sunday. On Saturday, town’s AQI was within the ‘reasonable’ class.
Out of 28 monitoring stations, Anand Vihar, Sirifort, and Vivek Vihar reported AQI ranges within the ‘very poor’ class, with readings exceeding 300.
The remaining stations recorded AQI ranges within the ‘reasonable’ and ‘poor’ classes, as per the Sameer App.
An AQI between 0 and 50 is assessed as ‘good,’ 51 to 100 as ‘passable,’ 101 to 200 as ‘reasonable,’ 201 to 300 as ‘poor,’ 301 to 400 as ‘very poor,’ and 401 to 500 as ‘extreme.’ Humidity ranges ranged between 96 per cent and 91 per cent in the course of the day.
